The published starting price is £165. The price list shows £165–£265 for laptop PC and Apple Mac panels. Apple Mac adds £15 to the base rate. Phone, tablet and desktop monitor glass are not this service.
The fitting
The old panel comes out, the new one is seated, and the bezel goes back on. This is a workshop job, not a kitchen-table one.
The check
The image, the camera and the Wi-Fi are checked before the laptop is handed back. You can look at it before you leave.
If it is not worth it
If a new screen costs more than the laptop is worth, that is said before any part is ordered. There is a separate page on repairing or replacing the laptop.

Cracked glass
The image is still there, but the glass is spidered. A new panel replaces the cracked one. It does not fix a dent in the lid hinge on its own.
Black screen, the machine is on
Fans spin and the keyboard lights up, but the panel stays black. That can be the panel, the cable, or the graphics. The visit finds which.
Lines, flicker, or a pink wash
Vertical lines and flicker are often the panel or the cable behind the hinge. Both are checked before a panel is ordered.
Ink spots and pressure marks
A pale blotch that grows is a damaged panel. It is the same replacement, priced from the published range.
